In Multivariable Calculus or Calculus 3, vector field was one of the most abstract concepts for me. Upon my high school graduation, my teacher had the class take a step further from dot product and cross product to do presentations on the divergence and curl of a vector field, along with Stoke's Theorem and Gauss' Divergence Theorem in the Plane. These important concepts will once again be explored in Complex and Vector Variables, so it is vital to understand fully the roots of them. With a lot of research and multiple revisions with my teacher, I successfully wrote this paper and the curl of a vector field undoubtedly will forever stay in my memory.
